Power Plant Engineering being its core strength, DC has planned, designed, and commissioned more than 375 greenfield fossil-fuel-based power projects, including several supercritical units, with capacities ranging from 1 MW to 800 MW. DC has been the pioneer in numerous power plant technologies in India, engineering the country's first large-scale Combined Cycle Plant. It has engineered a significant number of Gas Turbine-based power plants worldwide, alongside projects in Solar and other Renewable Energy (Biomass based) sectors, as well as DG-based units. DC is proud of its long-standing contribution to India's Nuclear Power programme, accounting for more than 75,000 MW of installed generation capacity. In the area of Power Transmission & Distribution, DC has executed more than 152 major assignments.
DC has shown its versatility in more than 62 green-field projects, across the Chemical & Process industries, including advanced materials like synthetic ferric oxide, white tabular alumina, soft, ferrite, PET resin, soaps and detergents, pesticides, molecular sieve, fertilizer and bio-technology. A major strength of the organization lies in its ability to integrate technical inputs from process collaborators and translate them into comprehensive detailed engineering. DC has also undertaken scale up activities, development of basic process flow sheets, P&I diagrams and process equipment sizing. DC has engineered over 75 Mining & Mineral Beneficiation schemes for both underground and opencast operations.
